Description
Around 1500 Leonardo Da Vinci illustrated the book “La Divina” (The Divine Proportion) by the mathematician Luca Pacioli which described the mathematical theory of “The Golden Ratio” which was used in Renaissance paintings and statues to to have balance and beauty. Da Vinci later named it Section Aurea or Golden Section. The gold designs of the cards refer to this Renaissance art.
