Maharaja is an area control game for 1-4 players. The original version of Maharaja was a rush to build palaces; in the new edition there are several ways to earn victory points, so building the most palaces (now statues) is not the only objective of the game.
The character tiles indicate turn order and give different and unique abilities to the player. They are drafted at the beginning of the game and can be switched with a specific action during the game. Our new edition has more characters to play with, and even more can be unlocked with a stretch goal.
The same thing will happen with bonus tiles and final scoring tiles. All those new tiles will guarantee great variability to each game.
The graphics of the game have completely been redone by Klemens Franz and will astonish you. The gameboard is now A1 paper size and your journey to India will be amazing! The statues to build are wooden components, that can be upgraded unlocking stretch goal to become fantastic miniatures.
